Useful Railroads enhances Minecraft's rail system with various upgrades. The highspeed rail lets you cover long distances much faster; it's powered by redstone and seems almost instantaneous once the cart starts moving.
Another addition is the direction rail, which limits a railway to one direction. Also powered by redstone, it prevents carts from moving against the indicated arrow. These rails are beneficial for busy systems where you want to restrict travel in one direction on a single rail.
Additionally, there's the intersection rail, a simple piece allowing cross sections on your track. It provides flexibility in your railway layout.
For those needing more than instant transportation, there's the ender rail. It teleports a cart to a chosen location once it passes over the track. To set it up, drop an ender track and an ender pearl at the desired teleportation spot. This locks the coordinates to that rail. Then, place the connecting ender rail at your desired destination to sync them up.
